Red Dress Gala is our main 

philanthropy, taking place in the Spring during Mom’s weekend.  The brunch and silent auction allow Mom's and members to mix and mingle and enjoy time together.  The event celebrates our connection to women's heart health. We seek out local community members to hear their story and connection with cardiac care.  Members also wear a red dress in honor of spreading awareness for the research and treatment of heart disease.  Half of the proceeds raised from this event are donated directly to the Alpha Phi Foundation; supporting Women’s Hearts Health, as well as Alpha Phi women all over the nation in leadership and scholarship funding. The remaining half is donated to charities local to Miami University. Two years ago, money raised during Red Dress Gala was donated to Miami University Police Department to help maintain                         and place more AED Defibrillators      

around our campus.
